Every time we visited Lucky Four Farms I was impressed by her beauty and golden color. But she was not for sale, we also tried to buy her 2008 filly, but Lucky Four Farm wanted to keep her as a future brood mare. The surprise was very big when Wade and Jon gave us the chance to buy Love Note during our 2009 visit. And not only Love Note but also her 2009 Black Velvet daughter The Cats Meow and in the mean time Love Note was bred back for a 2010 foal by again Black Velvet! The choice was very easy to make.
Love Notes beautiful color let her become 1995 Reserve World Champion in the Color Class. Her sire Buckeroos Top Cat produced several World Champions. Also on mothers side a wonderful pedigree, the one and only Rowdy is Love Notes grandsire!
Of all 10 foals that Love Note produced thusfar only 2 do have a different color than Buckskin of Dun!!
