Around 1.35 am, exactly the day that SSF Luxors Gift to Keepsake was planned to have her foal, he was there, a beautiful Buckskin Pinto colt with long long legs.
Approximately three quarters of a year ago, on the evening that his full sister Laetitia died I already knew his name. There was a full moon with next to it a little star that twinkled in the night. No matter if it would be a filly or a colt, as a tribute to Laetitia, that we will never forget...

We knew this filly was special the day she was born, it was Ronald's birthday. It goes without saying that we are so happy that this beautiful filly found a loving home at Stal Heijden. She originally was not for sale but when Marco told that she would be Erica's 25th Wedding Anniversary Gift we simply had to let her go...

What a beautiful day, good temperature, sun high in the sky and the organization was perfect! Every thing went so well this day, my compliments to all NMPRS board members, volunteers and last but not least the judges!
For Silver Spring Farm this day was very special. All stallions present at the show that were once owned by our company, off spring of our stallions or horses we bred ourselves got a FIRST premium!!! A day on which as a breeder you are walking on sunshine!

HCM Bucks Em Pac, owner Stal Chavaleh, our previous herd sire, got a 1D premium, became super star and based on the results of his off spring also Preferent!
MH Legacys Wynn, owner Stal Kees Sage, Sandra and René bought Wynn from Silver Spring Farm at the age of 2, it was love at first sight... Wynn got a well deserved 1D Premium today!

What a special present!! Today it is Ronald's birthday and since I was watching Gift alle the time I had no chance to buy him a present. This morning round 9.35 am Gift took care of this problem by giving Ronald her own gift, a wonderful black filly with an extra ordinary presence. The Tusing Family gave us such a wonderful day!! Thank you Michael Tusing, that Wade is coming to live with us now. Next to Bob, he is going to play an important role in our breeding programm.
During our visit to Lucky Four Farms we bought 2 new broodmares and a filly. Wade and Jon gave us the choice out of several of their proven broodmares. We finally decided to buy Reserve World Champion color class Solid Gold TCS Love Note and Lucky Four Silvers Sparkling. Several daughters of both mares were retained for the Lucky Four breeding program. Besides the mares we also bought the filly Lucky Four Black Velvet The Cats Miow.
